Activity
A walk along the riverside to Goytside Meadows using maps and looking
at how the riverscape has changed by industrial development, river management
and agricultural change
12.00 Lunch - please bring your own packed lunch to eat as a picnic in
the meadow

What different habitats can we find in the meadows?
In what ways are the habitats different?
Activities
A range of fieldwork activities to identify habitats and discover how
the habitats differ e.g. soil types, amount of water

A range of fieldwork activities to investigate feeding relationships and
to consider how people are caring for and improving the environment

Please note - most of the day will be spent on site outdoors - please
wear clothes suitable for very wet or very hot or cold days !
