Where is Goytside Meadows?
Activity
A walk along the riverside to Goytside Meadows using maps and looking at how the riverscape has changed by industrial development, river management and agricultural change

12.00 Lunch - please bring your own packed lunch to eat as a picnic in the meadow

What different habitats can we find in the meadows?
In what ways are the habitats different?
Activities
A range of fieldwork activities to identify habitats and discover how the habitats differ e.g. soil types, amount of water

How are the creatures and plants in these habitats interdependent?
How are the creatures and plants adapted to this environment?
How is the local nature reserve managed?
Activities
A range of fieldwork activities to investigate feeding relationships and to consider how people are caring for and improving the environment
